Traily — trail discovery and hiking app case study

Traily is a mobile hiking discovery app designed to help people find trails that fit their interests, experience, and plans.

Finding the right hiking trail can involve searching across different platforms for routes, difficulty levels, weather, trail information, and things to prepare.

The challenge was to make that process feel simpler, more visual, and less overwhelming.

The goal was to create a simple and engaging hiking experience that makes discovering new trails feel effortless, while giving users the information and tools they need to confidently plan and enjoy their hike.

We designed Traily around the complete hiking journey; Discover, Explore, Plan, and Navigate. The experience brings together visual trail discovery, detailed trail information, interactive maps, trip planning, and hiking checklists in one cohesive mobile experience.

Traily became a focused hiking experience that turns trail discovery into a more enjoyable and straightforward journey, from finding a trail to preparing for the adventure.
